[RWP] time stretching imported audio using a specific check box in item properties?

hey all i'm running reaper 4.02 on windows 7 64bit i remember reeding in a previous thread on the reaper forum a wile back that you could time stretch imported audio files by using a specific check box in item properties please could some one tell me if this is possible and explain the process to me? is my memory correct on this one or am i dreaming?
