And what makes you think we don't use it?
I have taught this feature to many of my students, it's probably that you don't hear from the most productive people because they're busy being productive 'smile'.
Also you need a good powerful machine to run sonar and those who are trying to get by on a shoe string, won't be running sonar.
Right tools for the job and all that.

Poise basically does the same thing as matrix view in Sonar 853, plays
samples; only you can run Poise in any VST host.
Once Poise's screen graphics are labeled; I think we can run it without
a hitch, especially is copy/paste is now enabled.
I've been on a guitar sidetrip; but I'll get back to Poise eventually;
maybe also give Sonar 853 matrix another go.
I can't comprehend why all you Sonar users don't try matrix view.
It's totally accessible as it is.
You can fill up all 61 or 88 keys on your midi keyboard, each key
triggering a sample in any format; either looping or 1shot; even whole
midi files playing from pressing 1 key.
With a single keystroke you can tell Sonar 853 to record your
performance as you trigger samples.
I ran matrix with wineyes, and I'm sure it's the same from jaws or NVDA.
The only reason I quid running matrix was the computer I had then wasn't
powerful enough to cope with Sonar 853; but any i5 or I7, or four core
AMD should easily handle Sonar 853.

I think some of the problem when we talk to the developers is that we forget that they don't know how to use our software. I think that would probably help them to understand how to help us better if they can speak our language.

I'm just trying to see if I can poke around and accidentally make something happen that could hold us over until the next version comes. I'm also poking around to see if there's any more information that I can give him that might help him figure out exactly what we need.
