I agree.

The great thing about ahk or autohotkey is that it works with or without a screen-reader.

And since it can be triggered by hot-strings, we can totally avoid hotkey conflicts.

If he wants to release the source code, each of us can customize our keys to our liking.

  I think what Shannon also needs is a tutorial on NVDA or something like that. I think some of the problem when we talk to the developers is that we forget that they don't know how to use our software. I think that would probably help them to understand how to help us better if they can speak our language.
