[RWP] What's the current state of n I kontact accessibility with hsc and ahk?

Hi Trahern. Without going too deep with my explanation, the big issue with
Kontakt is basically what Calvin said. Further accessibility can be gained,
but the time, effort, investment, skill level does not match what would be
gained by that amount of input. What I mean is I currently have more
accessibility with a set I have here, plus I could add more, like the
parameters of each instrument, so you can tweek it etc, but the task in
doing this is not an attractive project, as the support you would get from a
finished result would be at best minimal.

I said to Calvin that I think the best way to go is to support specific
libraries that work with Kontakt, as they have their own controls etc and
there's much more choice available to the user, meaning 1 library may be
very dificult to make accessible, but another would be much easier. Also,
developers IMO are much more up for having their libraries made accessible
and are willing to promote such things, which in turn creates a more open
forum on accessibility.

The bottom line with all of this is pretty clear to all. For every piece of
music related software made accessible, I bet less than 2 % of
blind/visually impaired musicians will support it for whatever reason. Most
want stuff free and a lot cannot get it licenced for obvious reasons. The
only insentive to do this is firstly for personal reasons and access...and
secondly for the few who show support to such projects. Cheers Steve.
