Subject: Reapers plug window always on top?

Hi, sorry for the cross posting. For all users of Reaper, does anyone
know...or even aware, that whenever a plug is open when using the "in
dedicated process per plugin" option in the compatibility preferences, that
window actually stays on top of every other window, no matter what? This is
a necessary step to take for any accessibility solution, as the screenreader
needs to be able to access the window, without it the window seems to float
in the Reaper UI.

Now I'm trying to find out if there's any other configuration that can be
done to stop this window taking over everything. It seems odd, as if a
sighted user had it set up this way, they couldn't use anything else without
shutting that window down and reopening it all of the time, they wouldn't be
able to see any other window. So, anyone any ideas? This is interfereing
with Jaws and it's not really efficient to open and reopen all of the time,
but perhaps it's going to be a necessary evil of using plugs with Reaper.
I'm not that up on Reaper and could very easily be way off here, so if
there's more experienced users out there, please give me your input. BTW, I
posted on the Cockos forum, but not heard anything, cheers Steve.
