[RWP] an easier way to preview files in the insert media file dialogue?

hey all so far when i want to preview files in the insert media file dialogue i have had to use audacity to do this but does any one know if there is an easier way to do this like telling reaper to preview media files by default before you insert them in to the project? 

Your help with this question would be most welcome.
