[RWP] system access ajusting efect window paramiters propily and plug in pin conections window i think

hey all i have 2 things i would like to ask firstly using system access how do i adjust the parameters in the effects window propily i've been clicking on the sliders with vultule mouse mode and it just sais "added" so am i doing some thing wrong? secondly  i was in the plug in effects window when i some how bought up a window i think was called plug in pin connections it appeared to be inaccessible does any one know what it does and how to use it? your help with these questions would be most welcome kind regards trahern.
