[RWP] the space bar does not work in the plug in windows!!please help!!

hey all the space bar does not press any of the buttons or activate any of the check boxes in plug in windows where you change the settings when i press the space bar in the plug ins window it just plays the track as if i was in the mane track view please can some one help me with this problem?  i'm running windows7 64bit the latest version of reaper 64bit and the latest versions of nvda and reaaccess. your help with this problem would be most welcome kind regards trahern.
