[RWP] adding an afect to a peace of audio in reaper

Another thing to keep in mind is that you only have access to a plugin's  native ui when adding to an item. The ReaAccess parameters list won't work, which is a big deal with some plugins. So, I usually put the item on its own track, build the effect chain there if I don't already have a combination I like, copy the chain of effects to the item's effect list, then put it back on its original track, then delete the temp track. If its an effect I want to reuse a lot, then I'll  keep that track around and move items where needed.
