Nicole on MidiMag is the only person I know who uses Bass Midi Driver,
but she doesn't use Reaper.
I have no idea even what it is; or why Reaper wouldn't see it.
Reaper always shows the microsoft synth plus the RealTech midi, or
SoundMax midi, the one that came on older computers.
You're much better off using a real audio and midi interface of some
kind, USB, PCI or PCIE.
If your midi keyboard has a USB cable, or midi ports, Reaper will show
your keyboard as its midi device.
Whatever midi device you use; you must change the word Disabled to
Enabled after its name.
Basically, you need to route the device name to PC cursor; or the
equivalent for your screenreader; and right click there on the device
name; so that you get the configure device dialog.
Once you get that dialog to appear; put a check mark on use this as your
midi device, then click on the apply and okay buttons.
