Hay Daniel,
before trying the synchronization of Reaper and QWS let me tell you about construction of drum MIDI track in Reaper. Due to Jim new version of Jaws scripts you can work with Media Browser in Reaper and load your MIDI loops in EZDrummer tracks. So using Ctrl + Alt + x you can move between Media Explorer and your
 project tracks and play your drums together with other tracks or alone or whatever you wish.
Yes, i will tell about the synchronization a little bit later though it is not so obvious in case of MIDI sequencer, it seems, it is mor usefull and even necessary with notation programs.
