[RWP] possibly my last question

Actually, there's no need to glue all the track items in order to make it easy to select everything in the project. Found you can just choose select all from the edit menu, and it slects all items in the project. So if you wanted to copy and paste a portion of all tracks, you can just choose select all from the edit menu, and then highlight the portion to copy. Don't know why, but control A says cannot select all, but the edit menu version does work.

The method I find works for selecting copying and pasting a portion of several tracks at once is as follows:
1. Glue the items in the tracks, so that you have just one item per track instead of several.
2. with cursor at start of track 1, control shift right arrow to select track one's item.
3. Press shift down arrow to track 2, and then control shift right arrow to select track two's item while keeping track one's selected. Do this for as many tracks as required.
4. Move cursor to start of portion to be copied, and then hold down shift and pres page down or control page down or whatever to select the measures, beats etc that you wish to copy.
5. Hit control C, move cursor to position you wish to paste, and hit control v. Bingo! It works. And all inside a week, grin.
