I just downloaded N V D A 2012.3, which seems better than ever, and just
installed 64 bit Reaper v4.30, plus ReaAccess, in this Windows 7 64 bit
computer, then inserted a midi file, and when I press ctrl+enter I get
the announcement: Can't Open Midi.
This shouldn't be.
Makes no difference whether I just have the track selected, or select
the track's items with ctrl+shift+right arrow, Can't Open Midi.
I can go to the items menu, arrow up to midi editor submenu, and click
on something like: Open in Built in Midi editor, and it gives me some
access to midi settings for the whole item, like groove off on, volume,
length, offset; with ssettings I can change, but where is the midi
editor that I easily get in XP with Window-Eyes, where I can advance
along the time line with ctrl+right arrow; from note to note, and change
every note setting
I can't find any way around this in Windows 64 with N V D A.
Wineyes won't run 64 bit Reaper, so I'm going to install Jaws 14 demo,
and try opening the midi editor in JFW 14.
Has anyone out there found a solution for N V D A?
Thanks,
Indigo L
