[RWP] found an HSC set an VST plugin for reaper

Hmmm.
Maybe that's why, after I get the preset list displayed in FM8, then go
to track view and arm a track for recording, I find the preset list no
longer working.
Then, if I try to reestablish the working preset list with my same
method, the same number of pixels I move don't hit the preset button.
Maybe my initial point of reference has shifted.
I still don't comprehend why making a selection in Reaper should
rearrange FM8's screen, but old FM8 is a devilishly tempermental and
difficult to pry open thing, and disturbs easily.
Not true for Absynth 5 or most other soft synths, though
Absynth 5 even opens retaining the last selected preset, but magnificent
but moody FM8 always reverts to a sine wave like default preset when loaded.
I'm going to try to get sighted help comparing FM8's initial screen with
its screen after I make setting changes in Reaper.
I'll look for an initial reference point that remains fixed, after
arming Reaper tracks, etcetera; if one exists.

For use in HSC of coordinates I derive, I'll try using upper left screen
corner as initial point of reference, then move down and right to preset
buttons, and derive X Y coordinates.
I'm definitely not an enemy of standardized methods.
Thanks,
Indigo L
