[RWP] found an HSC set an VST plugin for reaper

The problem probably has to do with, either as Roy said, the application 
title from sonar was included in the sonar definition of those sets, and/or, 
that the developer did not use the correct positioning method.  You can get 
HotSpots to work several different ways, but some are more portable than 
others.
The key is to use coordinates that are defined relative to the smallest 
enclosure you can find.  So, if you use the top left corner of the pluggin 
as your reference point, all things remain constant, no matter where the 
host aplication decides to place the plug.
