Yes,...It does the mix down thing,...It supports both wdm, and asio 
drivers, but I haven't figured out what asio driver to install for 
it,...since I am getting really nice clean recordings, I haven't 
pressed that issue...

They also have a firewire version for substancially more bucks, If you 
want to go that rout , all in all, I am completely satisfied with the 
"zed 24...
