[RWP] bypassing a track effect for certain items, is it possible?

Without using automation, the fastest work-around I can think of, which 
isn't terribly ideal, would be to clone the track with your effects 
chain on it minus compressor, delete all the items on your new track, 
then move the items you don't want compressed down to your new track 
using numpad 2/8 to move your selected item(s) up/down a track. Horribly 
inefficient, but it will work. I've done similar things before.
