Dear Jim when in the track view press the f-4 key, you are now in what
ReaAccess calls the actions list. You can do a great deal with in this set
of dialogs such as import and export key maps, find short cuts, ascribe
actions to key commands and create macros of linked actions similar to the
joining of your hot spots to create multiple key commands, but it is
possible to ascribe a key command to an action with in the actions list in
reaper and that action will usually be reported back to you via your screen
reader. I found out last night the back space button is not actually linked
to the media explore windows although it says it is in the actions list. so
let us now activate the back space key and you can see how fortunate it is
that we have access to the action list.

1 press function key f4.
2 tab four times until your screen reader says "section main".
3 You are now in a list comprising the main module that makes up reaper.
The one you want is media explore.
4 Pres the down arrow four times until your screen reader says "media
explore".
5 Now tab once to get in to a list of actions, some of which have already
been given a key command.
6 press down arrow to check out each the actions until you get to the back
space browser.
7 fun time!! If you have located the back space which should be the fourth
press of your down arrow, you tab once, this will take you in to a list off
short cuts, you will have one listed but it actually doesn't work, as we now
know.
8 Tab again and your screen reader will say "short cuts for selected action
ad button"
9 Pressing the space bar will activate the button, this brings up a dialog
which says: "type key or move controller". Which is referring to your midi
control device.
10 You now choose the key you want to use for the action of moving from one
folder to another, but in this instance we press the back space button.
some times, if a key is being used for some other action in reaper, you will
be worned that you will override the previous action, but in this case you
probably won't get that worning because the back space hasn't been ascribed
to any action.
I hope this protracted ramble helps.
