[RWP] Migrating Project

yep.
sonar and other daws process audio and do their work in the tradditional
method. Reaper just decides what to do with the audio as it needs
to...speeds up real time processing a huge amount...that's why realtime
effects are so fast and easy to use in reaper compared to other DAWS that
need a powerful machine with loads of ram to operate.
I can mix projects with effects on my netbook quite easily...as long as I
don't exceed about 3 effects processes per track...at that point, it's a
limitation of the CPU processing the effects rather than a memory issue.
On my old del running 512MB of ram and a 2.8GHZ processor, I have nearly
limitless processing power on each track...to a point of course as with
anything, but certainly far greater than with other DAWS.
Regards
COlin
