[RWP] Adjusting Parameters of Certain Plugins

True, but you're not likely to get the control surface configured to
that particular plugIn in a second, unless there's a control map
provided for it in the control surface's memory.
Unless somebody finds a better way, you'll need to find the parameter on
Reaper's effects chaining page, which is the plug's interface when you
load it, then find midi learn, tweak the knob or fader, etcetera.
Even when that plug's interface is in bit map image, you'll still get
its parameter list, and they will tweak when values are changed.
Your ears will be the only way to know what's being changed sometimes.
At least in Reaper's parameter list at the track view, you get all the
parameters in 1 long list.
In Sonar don't you only get 4 at a time?
I'm not sure, but I think you don't always get hertz values in any daw,
unless someone has spotted the plug up for you.
The Reaper manual says if the plug writer provides adequate labeling
within the plug, Reaper will show it, and, I do find informative titles
on some parameters, like LFO1 LFO2, and on others it's only 1 2 3 etcetera
Unfortunately, there never seems to be anything but 0 or 1 for switches,
and 0 to 1000 for incremental values.
If the plug is outputting sound you'll hear changes in realtime, though.
