Roy, are you discovering these procedures by trying every kind of
shortcut combination possible in each situation, or is there a list of
shortcuts I'm not aware of.
I have what I thought was the complete shortcut list for ReaAccess, and
don't remember these being there?
I'm going to need to try every shortcut move possible also, because
hidden menus are certainly available.
My problem is that I don't always know how I got intoa particular menu,
and can't find my way back. smile.
By the way, your control+up arrow cure for Reaper version 4 menus not
dropping, also works in previous versions.
I have 4.15 on this machine, but on my music daw I use 3.78, only its
file, edit, etcetera menus never dropped from the alt key.
I would need to press F10.
Maybe this is only true for Window-Eyes, and not true for Jaws and NVDA,
I don't know yet.
I tried ctrl+up arrow, in Reaper 3.78 and once the menus drop, they open
normally with the alt key from then on in that session.
Does everyone know that when you press ctrl+right arrow on a selected
track; to bring up the first track item; then there are 3 menus exposed?
1 is a list at the tab key, 2 you get by pressing enter on the track's
item, and 3 you get by pressing the applications key on that item?
These are not just item edit menus, but also seem to be take edit menus
as well.
I haven't got into takes yet, will learn how take edit works when I do.
Maybe everybody knows all this already, or maybe I'm finding alternate
ways to bring up lists and menus other users are reaching by other
easier methods.
Once we pool our notes someplace where we can compare them, maybe we can
weed out redundant and overly complicated procedures, like some of mine.
Thanks again,
Indigo L
