[RWP] Mix Opinion, Please?

Thanks, Jim, I'll need to use Sound Forge that way, to read peak levels,
unless I find the VU meters Patrick Perdue reports are in Reaper.
I guess I'll feed the output of that drum track to a track with a
compresser on it, lower those peaks, then feed the compresser track's
output back into the mix
I guess the piano and bass should each have their own compresser also,
and probably be limited and equalized; as well.
Processing each separately has to be the best choice, rather than
scrample it all together into 1 audio omelet; then try to tweak that
mess later.
How a little project gets more and more complex, right, but I need to
learn all this.
Thanks,
Indigo L
