[RWP] introduction and a question?

i'm not sure where to look in Reaper, but try to get some help in 
the M-audio control pannel to see what your buffer setting is. 
That's all i can think of as a possible cause, unless maybe you're 
playing a soft synth that introduces considerable latency into things.
