[RWP] introduction and a question?

I'll have to reinstall asio drivers, then try these suggestions.
I tried adjusting these properties before, with no success in lowering the 
latency using the onboard realtech sound card.
I know, crappy sound card, but I should have been able to at least reduce it 
somewhat.
I'll try again with asio drivers on a mostly clean system.
