Editing a Track's Item Properties:

1 Select a midi track with up and down arrows.
2 Press ctrl+right arrow to bring up the selected tracks item.
3 Press enter to bring up the item properties dialog with a long list
of editable item properties at your tab key, and also at your number pad.
Among others, which we can explore later, tab down to pan; with center
often shown as the default position.
I tried various combinations of ctrl+home and end keys, alt+up down
arrows, alt+page up page down, and found I soon got pan to move left or
right by fairly large increments with up and down arrows alone.

I'm still not clear which shortcuts are quickest for pan;but please
experiment and report back. on your results as to how to quickly change
pan position.

Tab down more to find volume to find shortcuts that increase or decrease
volume quickly, or type values for volume into the edit box.
You can also shift an item's pitch by typing in values, in the edit box
containing 0.00000; but, so far, I found no shorcutin this dialog to
transpose an item's pitch.

You can normalize, set fade in and fate out curves, plus perform many
other powerful item property edits.

To save your edits, either tab upwards to apply and okay buttons; ; or
find apply and okay buttons near the bottom at your number pad.

As Jim Snowbarger, reported; I find the shortcut alt+2 and 7 at the
number pad do not work to nudge track volume either down or up.
Does anyone know if this a mistake in ReaAccess's key mapping or a
standard Reaper shortcut that doesn't work?
Thanks,
Indigo L
