Gensing knows Reaper very well and may answer you soon.
Meanwhile, welcome to the list and Reaper.
You download the latest Reaper version at www.reaper.fm
and download ReaAccess at www.reaaccess.org
I believe it is.
If not, try www.reaaccess.com
First install Reaper.
Open and close Reaper before installing ReaAccess.
Then install ReaAccess.
Then you can open Reaper and ReaAccess also runs.
In ReaAccess press f12 key for learning mode, so you can press keys and 
learn their actions.
Press f12 again to return to standard mode.
To configure audio and midi, press ctrl+P to go to options/preferences.
Find audio, then tab down to configure sound card.
Same with midi, find midi, then tab down to configure sound card.
You will find your sound card named, with the word Disabled.
You want the word Enabled after the name of your sound card.
Let me know when you enable your sound card if you have problems, and 
I'll help.
After enabling your sound card inputs and outputs, click on Apply and OK.
