[RWP] using reaper as a live setup?

Hi I have a couple  questions about using reaper as a live setup?
First of all is there a way that I can for example have a few vst
instruments loaded in to reaper and some how trigger thoughs
instrument changes from my midi keyboard?  Second is there a   way  to
change the pitch bend settings so that the vst i am using pitch bends
a tone instead of an octave?  Thanks in advanced hope every ones day
