[RWP] Very simple question

In project settings, I remember already trying setting Time Base
Items/Envelopes/markers set to either Beat Position, rate; or; Beat
Position Only; and didn't notice any difference.
I think I'll continue to use record touch; which I know for sure begins
recording at exactly 000.00, and always keeps the metronome in perfect
sync with synth arpeggios.
Instead of using Limit Project Length, though, I think I'll try
placing a marker at the end of 2 measures.
I can assign the action stop recording to the end marker.
I'm beginning to wonder if Limit Project Length in Project settings
advance was ever meant to be totally accurate, or was just intended to
limit the length of long recordings, rather than have them use up the
entire available drive space, like in a situation at a live concert,
where one forgot to return to the computer and shut off recording.
Thanks,
Indigo L
