[RWP] setting a USB input?

I had that happen also.
I once had a Creative Audigy on my old music computer, then later
installed an EMu 0404 PCI card.
I had no problems for a long time, until I took that card out to try the
EMu 1616 M, then when I reinstalled the 0404 PCI back into that same
machine, somehow the old drivers and other crap from the Audigy got
stirred up and caused all kinds of problems.
They are all Creative products, and their software has similar elements
in it that can confuse their different products.
I did a search for anything with the words creative, audigy, etcetera,
and deleted whatever came up.
I went to windows regedit, and deleted all creative entries in current
user and local machine software
Then I reinstalled the 0404's specific software, and no problems since.
I'll bet that old audigy asio driver is still in there somewhere,
screwing up things.
I know it's shown in regedit current user or local machine, in the
creative folders.
