[RWP] setting a USB input?

That's your problem, Colin.
If you're in Options/preferences/audio devices, and your USB device is
not showing the word Enabled after it's name, it won't get through to
record anything.
I am running Winize, but it's pretty much the same procedure on Jaws.
Get focus on the name of your USB audio device at your arrow keys.
Route to your PC cursor and go to your number pad.
Make sure the name of your USB device is selected at your number pad.
Right click there at the number pad on its name.
Now, go back to your arrow keys and arrow down until you find the word
Configure.
Hit enter on Configure, go to your tab key and tab down to Enable; with
a checkbox, and make sure it's checked with your spacebar.
Then tab down and hit enter on Apply, then hit enter on okay.
It would be a good idea to close and reopen Reaper to learn if it now
shows Enabled after the USB audio device's name, because I've been told
that sometimes Jaws makes enabling look as if it's been done; but it
hasn't taken, and needs to be redone.
