Yes, Alexander,
i've ment the situation when qws and Reaper are connected with some virtual MIDI driver. Your QWS track is connected to MIDI track in Reaper. You asign VST instrument to the Reaper track and arm it, now you here the sound of VST and in many cases you can change patches and banks in QWS track properties. Now you can record and edit your track in Qws listening to the sound of Reaper VSTI. Then if you are satisfied with MIDI you export it to MIDI in QWS and insert file in Reaper tracks.
By the way there is another more interesting way of using reaper ASIO driver with QWS and stand alone synths/samplers.
