hi David
Virtual Mouse Mode will display the buttons that are on each track's control
panel e.g Mute , Solo , RecordArm , Monitor etc.
you navigate between them with Alt+left/right Arrow keys (for next/previous
object) , just up/down arrows will go a line up or down.
SpaceBar is the left clicking key , Shift+Space is for the right-click.
hope this helps
Roy.

Thanx Indigo
I knew very little about the Extended Trak Parameters other than what I had
seen come up in the Reaaccess Preferences Dialog, figured they would show up
sooner or later...*smile*
The Control Up Arrow then the Application Key worked a treat...*large smile*
Wouldst there be any other tricky hidden Keystrokes that are not apparent
from the Training Mode of Reaper?
Do we have to use the Virtual Mouse a lot? I realise that this might be an
open ended question, but just some of the main ones might be a clue...
Again my thanx
Kind regards

Sorry, David, I now realize you said the KeyStation 88 is enabled in
midi preferences.
So, don't use IO Routing dialog, but use the track options instead,
which are always available at your tab key in track view.
I tab down to midi output, I arrow up a couple of places and there is my
connected keyboard.
I hit enter to save settings and go back to track view.
I use this when I want to feed a midi file to the sound engine of my
keyboard synth; I guess that's also what you want to do.
There is another method of setting track recording options, an extended
version of the track options you get by pressing the applications key,
but it won't display without a work around..
To reach that extended track options menu, press ctrl+up arrow to unlock
a slight glitch; in Reaper versions 4 and later.
Then immediately press the applications key and the extended track
options menu displays.
Arrow down through it and you will soon see if you are in the correct menu.
If not; go back to track view, press ctrl+up arrow, then press the
applications key and you'll get the correct menu.
Reaper is a little bit tricky at displaying that extended track options
menu, but you'll soon get used to its ways, and be inventing your own
work arounds..
