[RWP] Softsynth latency

Reaper has several places you can lower latency.
First, though, go to your sound card's control panel, if it is 
accessible, and set the buffer size in there.
Then, in Reaper, There is a buffer size in audio settings, as you say.
There's also a buffer size in buffer, which is below midi devices.
Both affect latency.
Also, find in Midi Devices the setting to let your sound card report its 
actual latency to Reaper, so Reaper can automatically offset that 
latency, and put a check mark on that setting.
Also, tab to nearly the bottom of Midi device settings and you should 
find edit boxes for manually setting offset.
If all else fails, you can simply offset your latency.
What that does is simply subtract your latency in milliseconds, so you 
don't hear it
You'll have to experiment with how many milliseconds to enter in those 
edit boxes for latency offset.
I haven't configured those.
