[RWP] Banks, Patches and .ins files

In any new synth you load into Reaper, always try first sending bank and
program change messages from yourmidi keyboard.
The same knobs or buttons you use to select internal sounds in your
Tyros should send out bank and program messages to Reaper.
The synth you have loaded may or may not respond to midi program change,
you have to try it to find out.

I'm not sure if Sonar's inst files will have any meaning for Reaper, I
doubt it, but let us know if it does.
If a synth uses standard .fxp foremat for its patches; or .fxb format
for its banks, you can use Reaper's default preset loader to find and
load the synth's patches and banks
Stick to Reaper's setting of the plugIn's original interface, and the
same screen resolution, get help finding Reaper's default preset loader
and create a hot spot for finding it quickly.
Reaper's default preset load dialog does not work for any format except
FXB and FXP, though, so your only recourse for synths that use other
formats is to spot up the X Y coordinates of their propriatary preset
loader, wherever it might be located on their original interface.
I use a method similar to Hot Spot Clicker in Window-Eyes to find and
play the presets in FM8; also in Absynth 5, Zebra, Helix and others
that have totally bit map image interfaces.
