[RWP] Banks, Patches and .ins files

Hello all!

The subject tells all my questions shortly.

1. How can I tell Reaper, what bank or patch I want to use for a synth? 
E.G. the Roland Groove Synth has banks and patches or my midi keyboard. 
There I can't browse presets.
2. I read about supporting .ins files. How do they have to be that they 
can be imported in reaper? I have a file for the Tyros, but there are 
implemented all 4 models. Can I take this file as it originally is?
