Alexander, I'm not a good Jaws user, soI'm very careful when I'm in it;
and don't touch anything habitually, like activate with spacebar, which
will screw up this procedure.
Here's every step I used:
I can't get the shortcut ctrl+insert to work, so I hit alt; to open
Reaper's menus.
If those standard Reaper menus won't open for you, you can either press
F10; or press ctrl+up arrow, and then they will show themselves.
In Jaws 10, I only needed to pressed alt and I heard file menu.
I right arrowed to the insert menu.
I arrowed down twice to the selection that says something like: insert
instrument on a track.
I hit enter.
Then I shift+tab up to find the folders where Reaper stores its plugIns.
I select V S T I, and then arrow up and down to find Rappture by
Cakewalk, and hit enter.
In a second Rapture loads and announces itself.
I don't touch the F key, or spacebar, or tab, no other keys except route
PC to Jaws.
Then, I touch no other keys at the number pad, I go to the middle arrow
keys, I don't arrow left or right, just up or down.
I arrow down to hear the words Load Program.
There are other selections in that list for saving presets.
Ignore those and only arrow up/down to the words: Load Program.
Note, this is not the words Load Preset, but the words Load Program.
Press enter.
Then it gets a little more complex, but not bad.
Arrow up/down to the workd Programs and hit enter.
Now, there are many other selections on that last list, but they will
take you elsewhere, so only concentrate on the word Programs, which is
the term that Rapture and Dimension Pro use for what other people call
presets.
Try it over until you get it, I know it's there, and if an klutz in Jaws
like me can find it, you can too.
At my skill levenl in Jaws, I feel about as comfortable as if I was
backing a bus down a freeway or the autobon in rush hour traffic! smile.
