Thanks Indigo.

I asked about Waves because often, in Sonar, their presets don't 
show up in the usual Sonar preset dialog. Same goes for Wave Arts, 
and many other plug-in vendors.

So, just having this ability in Reaper would be an advantage for 
lots of folks over Sonar.
