In Wineyes, yet to be tested in Jaws, when in the effects combo box, is
displaying No Presets, I went to my number pad, left clicked on the
words No Presets, then arrowed down at the number pad and there is a
wonderful stack of presets, with their associated values.
I left clicked at the number pad on both preset names and values; which
caused them to appear in an edit box at the middle arrow keys, where
they can be up and down arrowed through and edited.
After selecting a new value, hit enter and the new value appears at the
number pad.
Same for parameters with selections, click on the preset selection
shown at the number pad, a list of selections appears at the middle
arrow keys in the same edit box, arrow up or down to a selection, hit
enter and the preset's new selection is shown at the number pad.
This is the method I will use in Wineyes, so much better for me than
fooling with the PAREM menu, which also works, but this is so much simpler.
I'll try it next in Jaws 13.
I still have no idea how to get lists of parameters to appear at the
number pad or elsewhere in NVDA.
I verified Mario's suggestion.
In NVDA, with PARAM at the tab key, I pressed the applications key and
it immediately opened the param menu.
I clicked on Show At Track Controls andpressed enter, and I got flitting
glimpses of parameters and values at the same combo box that shows No
Presets, but any presets or values disappeared immideately as soon as I
arrow to them, so how to expose effect presets and values is still a
puzzle for me in NVDA.
Incidentally, also in Wineyes, tabbing to PAREM and pressing the
applications key opens the PAREM menu, easier than looking for the word
PAREM and clicking on it at the number pad.
