what about nvda, smaller foot print, and less sysstem intensive. Kind of
otherwise, I wouldn't put something on my system, especially one used for
production/development, if the program would make any number of unknown
changes.
Sometimes, jaws especially will make changes to the visual experience of
windows, and the majority of us are not aware of those changes.
However, nvda doesn't required such changes to be made.
Another option would be to have him go to satogo.com, and get a trial that
way. Problem with that is he only has access for a week, then the trial
expires.
