[RWP] fun reaper stuff i can't find

I thought the regular selection keys did that? like shift and the down arrow 
from the first track and arrow to the last track you want to edit?
I know this particular task is easy to do in audacity as you can select and 
deselect each track...though I'm sure it's just as easy in reaper to select 
tracks and have them stay selected while you make changes.
try hitting F12 and some keyboard key combinations and see if you can find 
something that will select or deselect a track.
