[RWP] Just getting started with Reaper, many questions.

As far as generic access to plugIns, Reaper loads almost every plug that
isn't propriatary to another program, like, as far as I can tell,
there's no way to make Reaper run Sonar's bundled plugs that are meant
only to run in Sonar.
Otherwise, Reaper loads VSTI; VST; DXI; plus its own JS format effects.
Under the topic PlugIns/VST; in Options/Preferences, you need to write
an exact path to the folder where you keep your plugs.
Here's how my path to plugs is written:
C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins
If you keep your plugs in several folders, you add a second path with a
semicolon between the paths, no spaces.
Reaper scans for plugs you have added to your plugs folder since your
last Reaper session and adds them to its list of plugs.
To get to the lists of plugs, use the shortcut control Insert.
That's the insert key to the right of the delete key, not the insert key
on the number pad.
Then go to the tab key and tab up to the plugs list for the plug you
want, VSTI; VST; DXI, JS; or just Instruments, which has a long list of
them all.
When you find the plug you want, press enter on it; it loads and creates
a track containing the plug.
If Reaper doesn't automatically find a plug that you know for sure is in
your computer's plugs folder, you can force Reaper to scan for plugs.
You'll find the button to force a scan in VST; in Reaper's
Options/Preferences, a couple of tab presses below the edit box for the
path to your plugs folder.
For some reason, pressing enter on that button doesn't work for me; I
need to make the scan button appear at the number pad and left click on
it there.
Reaper takes a little time to complete its scan, then plugs usually
appear in Reaper's plugs lists.
Hope this helps,
Indigo

I am pretty familiar with many of the basic concepts behind using a DAW. I was getting discouraged by the upgrade costs of that platform.

But either I'm so rusty that the documentation is going over my head, or I'm not finding documentation written with keyboard users in mind and am having trouble getting my brain wrapped around the interface.

Is there any documentation written from our perspective, explaining work flow and basic interface concepts like how to move from the track view to other views in Reaper? How accessible does ReAccess make Reaper? Are there things we can't do?

I'd love to be able to work with a full-fledged Reaper project as I go through the documentation, rather than having to create my own from scratch. Is there a repository of such data?
