Yeah it is really hard to get reaper to record in stereo, unless you
know the trick, right click your track and select stereo :)
all sorts of stuff is hidden under context menu key, alt-context menu
control context menu and shift-context menu key.
This one bit me too until I had it pointed out.
If you think about it by default most tracks are mono by default in many
situations you either override this by default or make a template and
load it by default with stereo set.
Every editor is different and you'll find it is hard to do tasks in a
new environment until you learn how it works. I'd suggest goldwave but
it isn't multi-track.
If ever you come back to Reaper with a screen reader that isn't
Windoweyes i'm sure the list can help you a lot more.
I'm sorry you couldn't get reaper to work but as you are unwilling to
run an alternative screen reader even a free one we really can't help
you until either Windoweyes fixes itself or a new reaccess comes out
working around the bug in Windoweyes.
Sadly 64-bit Windows land is still a bumpy road to productivity for some
applications and drivers.
Regards, Kerry.
