[RWP] odd behavior with tracks

Hi:

I'm working on a six-track project with Reaper, and must have done something strange. I've never seen this	 before, but apparently, when bypassing effects on track 3, effects on track 1 are bypassed as well. I can't solo tracks anymore, rather they are certainly shown as being soloed, but they are not routed anywhere., while track and master meters are moving, indicating that there is audio on the soloed track, but no output happens
I have no sends or receives on any of the offending tracks.
Also, shift context menu, only on track 1, brings up something on the "customize project toolbar menu," not what I would expect to see for a track, and this only happens with one track.

Any ideas?
