the Metronome/pre-roll settings dialog is accessed by CTRL+Alt+m , there you
can set click frequencies and lengths.
optionally you can assign samples to first and subsequent beats.
BTW: there's also the Insert | Click source item to create a track with a
click on it.
in the properties of that click item , you can either follow the project
tempo , or have the click(s) play at different tempos.
an interesting experiment would be composing a tune for , say , 10
metronomes; each with its own pitches , beats per measure , and tempo.
