No, the time is selected accurately. I could send along an mp3 of what happens. The first three times of the two bar loop repeat correctly and then all of the sudden it starts droping beats and coming in early.

Gord,
Does that get progressively worse as the track plays? If so, that could just be a matter of not having selected the time interval precisely, and the errors accumulating with each iteration.
If it suddenly goes to hell, then it sounds more like a software bug.

I am only trying to loop one track. I recorded exactly 2 bars of an audio pattern and then after selecting the item and the time range extended the length to accomidate the length of the loop. It plays fine for like the first 6 bars and then gets truncated somehow.

if you apply the changes to 1 track/item at a time using normal selection , does it loop well all the way thru?
cheers
Roy.

Thanks. I'm having a problem with looping. I have two bars of audio and I set the length of the item to like 110 bars to loop it 55 times but after a while the loops get truncated weird or something.

there's the "multi-selection mode" that allows you to select multiple tracks/items , then apply something to all of them at once.
move to the first track with the up/down arrows , and to the first item on that track with CTRL+Right arrow; now press Shift+SpaceBar.
continue to the next tracks/items , pressing Shift+Space on each of them.
CTRL+Shift+Space will anounce what's selected.
you may now apply your changes/edits.
to exit Multi-selection mode and deselect everything , Press Shift+ESC.
hope this helps
Roy.

Subject: [RWP] A few work flow questions
Hello:
I've been really working at doing a project in reaper now. I have a few work flow related questions and I want to know if I'm missing anything.
1. Is there anything that is comparable to the interpolate dialog in sonar. I wanted to change the velocitys of notes to a specific range.
2. Can I select multiple tracks and the items within them at once to apply processing like setting the length and such. I had 3 tracks assigned for a drum part.
I guess that's it for now. I am really liking a lot of it.
