[RWP] Interesting problem recording with Reaper

Whilst you're at it turn off the record enhancements also.
dc offset calculation, echo supression and noise cancellation all make a
mess of the incoming audio.
turning the output effects also helps reduce lag and cpu use on any
sound output.
On some corner setups dc offset calculation is needed to fix a flakey
microphone input if you can't put a capacitor inline with your setup, it
is necessary to use it on a box I have at work.

Regarding the audigy, please note that with the audigy cards they
convert audio sample rates to 48000 so you're likely best to use 48000
and downsample with reaper later for best results.
Anyone on list using recent sound blaster cards that knows more than me
on this please let me know.

Regards, Kerry.
