[RWP] Interesting problem recording with Reaper

Hi Folks

I wonder if anyone can help me with this.  I'm trying to do some vocal
tracks, and what's happening is that the tracks come out okay except
occasionally, and this is the only way I can describe it, I get what on the
old analogue tape machines would sound like bad tape - not exactly dropout
but almost like that.  That's the best way I can desfribe it.  I'm using 64
bit Reaper on a Windows 7 machine and have checked all connections for any
problems.  Anyone got any idea?
