[RWP] Newbie with VST question

Thanks for this Roy. I'm just in the process of getting a
firewire card for my echo audiofire, and then I too will want to
be recording midi tracks using the same sorts of options. I just
have one more question. Is there anywhere specific that this
player should be installed, or will it install to the correct
place by default? Also, does the player have to be loaded
separately or does it load when you select a vst plugin or
soundfont?

Thanks,
Rikki.

there's a free , very accessible sf2/sfz vst instrument called
vst SynthFont
, available on:
www.synthfont.com
the interface is clear , thus you can assign a sound font
preset/sfz file to
each of the 16 channels; and also set various options.
hope this helps and good luck
Roy.

Subject: [RWP] Newbie with VST question

 Hello,
I have Reaper running with reaccess and NVDA. I have some sf2
soundFonts
which I want to use with my midi keyboard.
I downloaded the RGC Audio sfz player from Cakewalk.
After inserting VST instrument on new track my question is how
to load the
 soundFont into the plugin.
I had someone do it with the mouse, but I want to be able to do
this from
 the keyboard.

 Any thoughts?

 Thanks.
 Chris
