[RWP] How to reach input select / track properties in Reaper 4?

Hi, I am new to the list so sorry if I missed a past discussion on this.
In Reaper 3 I was able to bring up a context menu on a selected track if no items were selected. This contens menu let me chose the recording source i.e. "Input" or "MIDI", a submenu appeared upon selection of MIDI which allowed me to chose the MIDI controller to record from or the virtual Keyboard.
In Reaper 4, when I move to a track without selecting an item I get a "Can't find handle for Trackxx" message.
Is there still a way to access this function?
