[RWP] range of item length change with tempo

Hi all:

If I have an item set to timebase beats, position, length, rate, and 
attempt to change the tempo from 120 to 80 bpm, the item stops at around 
100 bpm, but the metronome is happy hanging out at 80. Similarly, if I 
go up, it no longer compresses past 140 or so, even though the tempo is 
much faster. I've also noticed similar behavior when fitting items to 
time selection.
Anything obvious I should look for to fix this?
